I shot this in a museum that was displaying the works of Leonardo. His bust was kept in a perspex enclosure, so it's shot through plastic. The plastic softened the image a little, but provided a perfect support for my lens. I needed to use a long lens to get the closeup image, and there wasn't enough light for a fast shutter speed to ensure sharpness, so I placed the lens right against the display case. There were no signs prohibiting photography, so I invoked one of my oldest rules: "Shoot first and ask questions later"
