Multi-frame composited DV image. April 1999 Encompassing an angle of over 180 degrees, this image is a perfect example of why the TRV900 is so flexible. Reading from left to right, there are about six images in this composite. I shot the first five in continuous progressive scan mode from my tripod, then framed the last image and ran over to the edge of the cliff and stood there. Then I ran back and rewound the tape to see how the last image worked out. It took me about three tries before I got it right. About six months later, I discovered that the camera had a self timer! Shot under overcast conditions, the lighting is not very dramatic, but landforms do record well on DV's limited exposure latitude. |
